AWARDS and KUDOS
Design That Works is proud to be the winner of a 2009 PIAG Award of Excellence . The winner was the 2008 Georgia KIDS COUNT project, a 64-page data book, bound into a pocket folder cover, with a pocket data slider for quick statistical references and a smaller brochure featuring “data snapshots.” Design That Works handled the entire project, including the very complex print production. Visit our success stories to see the entire KIDS COUNT package.
The fine art of “painting with thread”
One of Linda McCulloch's passions is original textile art. She designs and illustrates the work, transfers it to fabric, and does all the stitching by hand. A recent project, a pillow called "Life on the Coral Reef," was selected for a juried exhibition by the Embroiderer's Guild of America. The exhibit opened on Labor Day 2008, and will travel across the US for three years.
