Linda McCulloch has a feature article in the Winter issue of Georgia Printer, the quarterly magazine of the Printing & Imaging Association of Georgia.

The article is entitled “Environmentally Sensitive Graphic Designer Seeing Honest Credible Green Printing Company (No Greenwashers Please!).”

The title is somewhat tongue-in-cheek, but the subject is quite serious. Contrary to what many printers may think (”this environmental thing is a fad!”), a survey of 50 local graphic designers indicated that many creative professionals are aware of environmental issues. Furthermore, many of them are concerned about their printing companies’ business practices when it comes to issues of sustainability and greener corporate policies. Linda interviewed two printing companies about their levels of environmental sensitivity as well, and got some great comments and surprising insights.
